2002 HONDA ACCORD LX 2.3 JDM SWAP NEED HELP BAD PLEASE
i just finished a jdm swap. i bought the 2.3 4 cylinder from a reputiable seller. the motor is fine and i changed all sensors, timing belts, intake and exaust manifolds. really swapped out everything i was told to swap out. it will sit and idle perfect purrs like a kitten but as soon as you even touch the throttle it wants to die out it just wont rev at all but idles perfect like brand new.... we changed the vtech switch and valve solinoid. checked for engine codes and there are none. we checked the idle air control valve, tps and everything else we could think to check and we are stuck bad and i have to get this car going its my daughters car and she starts college next week... if anyone can help please let me know.. we took out the original 2.3 and swaped it with a jdm 2.3 and changed everything we were told to change... the car is a 2002 accord lx

I'd say check the vacuum hoses connecting to the intake manifold for leaks or clogs. After my engine swap, the engine kept dying until I opened a few hoses to let more air in. That worked for me, so just a suggestion
Did you notice a screen on the VTEC solenoid? If so was it clogged? Just thinking outloud here. Also, fuel filter? When you removed the fuel line, did something get stuffed in it to prevent foreign material, and maybe got left in it? Made sure all plug wires are secure? I dont know if the 02 has a distributor, if so, is the coil wire secure? Go through and doubly make sure all wiring harnesses are attached to the right sensor, theres a few that can be interchanged. For this you will need a good wiring diagram, and check the colors. Good luck, let us know what you find.
