Was at work 2 weeks ago and come out to this:



Not the worst, but still pissed me off seeing as no information was left and there were no witnesses.

I took it to the shop Tuesday and just received it back today. The paint seems to be matched well.




My question is regarding the blinkers. One seems to be farther out than the other. I can't remember which is the proper way. I am angry they left it like this and I'm bringing it back tomorrow.

One screw takes those lights off. Take off both and see if anything on the back side is broken or missing.

Looks like most likely what happened is the mount for the corner of the turn signal isn't secured correctly (it's like a hook and loop metal clip about a few inches wide that has a rectangular hole that the plastic tab of the turn signal slides into).

Poor description, I know, but if you remove the front bumper, you should be able to see the exact issue. Should be an easy 20 minute fix yourself, if you'd prefer not to return to the body shop.

 

I don't think this is a bumper issue at all. I think if the OP simply removes the corner light screws, the problem will be immediately obvious. I think the corner light has a slot holding one side in, and it's possible that the shop just "missed" the slot, so the light is protruding slightly.

My guess - 5 minutes with a phillips head screwdriver and it will be fixed.

Yeah, that's what I said earlier. Why he just doesn't spend 3 minutes with a screwdriver is beyond me.

He took 20 minutes taking pictures and posting them here when he could have just taken the lights off and solved his own problem in less time.
