when doing the obd0 to obd1 swap. which TD?? distributor is used?
i forgot the proper distributor model is used for the swap.
looking for the right TD## call sign for this swap.
the swap is for the EF civic D16A6 (single cam) OBD0 to the OBD1 VTEC d16Y8 (single cam) head.
so its basically the bottom is d16a6 single cam with vtec Y8 head single cam with obd1 conversion.
which dizzy?
i thought it was the TD80 but then i think i might be the TD42 or maybe the TD43 distributors.
can someone verify this.
thanks!

And since you made this thread ..I just have one question , will that D16Y8 head give you any benefit ? I have D16A6 too so just wondering .
well here is what i have actually noticed.
only difference i cared about is that is vtec. everything else is not going to be mentioned.
this is with tuning on a p28 hondata s300.
the d16y8 head will save you gas. less wtq
the d16a6 will give you more wtq. spends more gas.
these are in comparison to each other. the loss and gain was very marginal on each. if your into more power stay with the a6 if you want more mpg than do vtec.
you cant hear the vtec kick in, if thats what your also looking for. its pretty quiet when it kicks in. (cause a lot of people ask me this)
anyways im still frustrated as i cant figure out which distributor is supposed to be on this thing.
