Ok tried posting this in transmission and drivetrain forum with no response or help. So i figured someone would have more input in the regional classifieds so here we go..


I'm in need of a rebuild. Synchros and a 5th gear synchro spring. Anyone had their trans rebuilt in the Dallas/Ft Worth area? I need to find a REPUTABLE trans shop. Anyone have any recommendations? And if you have a phone # for the shop even better. More or less how was your experience, cost, satisfaction, etc.? I'm planning on pulling the trans and taking it to them if that matters. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And if you were going to mention an eagle transmission don't even bother posting please..

 

Rebuilding a Honda manual tranny isn't very hard to do if you wanna try yourself, might need a buddy with a press though. I've rebuilt over a 100 or so of them and I'd offer you my services but I'm not in the dfw.
