2000 honda accord radio help
I want to put a new radio in my 2000 honda accord. Since the original stereo was bigger i was wondering what i could use to hold the radio in place. Can anyone help?

Check your local parts store for a mounting kit. It sounds like you're trying to replace the double din factory radio with a single din model. The mounting kit is specific to the car, but you can mount just about any aftermarket radio in that kit.
There is also a wiring kit that will allow you to wire your aftermarket radio to a multi-pin plug and just unplug the factory unit and plug in your new radio. You may or may not need an antenna adapter. I've done this on Fords and GM vehicles, but the principal is the same. My '01 Accord had an aftermarket radio in it when I bought it. It uses the mounting kit I'm talking about. I didn't buy it, so I don't have a part number.
Oh, be careful. If you wire it in wrong, you can knock out your dash lights. There's a fix for that too.
