Default 3 wire to 4 wire obd2 square alternator plug

Hey everyone. So a couple of months ago I bought a 96-98 civic ex 5 speed harness from someone on here. So I got my b16b yesterday I started to put the harness on and I noticed my alternator plug is different. Apparently the harness is from a canadian ex model which I was never told that by the way. My question is can I just change the plug out and will there be a problem not running the fourth wire. Please help me out here I would greatly appreciate it, thank you.

I believe you just need to wire the 4th wire (alt control) directly to the ECU from the alt plug
