B18C EK (97 ) swap, alternator plug issue. 3 wire to 4 wire.

B18C EK (97 ) swap, alternator plug issue. 3 wire to 4 wire.
Hi everybody.
here is the contex : body is a 1997, canadian DX civic.
engine is a 1996, B18C, Type R tranny, P72 ECU, JDM engine.
wire harness is a 1997 Civic SI ( canadian = EX us )
everything seem to be fine, a few plug to extend, like IAT, Vtec solenoid and such just like the info I found on H-T.
one issue though, the JDM B18C is equiped with a 4 wire alternator plug, just like every other civic I saw up to date in my life. But the D serie alternator used on the D16Y8 from the SI civic is running a 3 wire plug on the alternator.
how do I go about converting this 3 wire plug to the 4 wire plug on my Si harness ?
any imput appreciated.
of course I'll let everyone know how to fix this once I know the answer.

Update from today work.
all colors from the Civic plug match the GSR plug, except the Wht\grn one that is identified as the alt control signal, wich is pined in the A19 location normally.
what's the fix on this ? do i run a wire from the ECU to the alt ?
