Suspension help
I need help in deciding what's best in suspension for my hatch. I bought the car lower it has skunk2 lowering springs but I don't like it because is too low and I want a better susp for it and I need advice for my car. My budget is $400-600 dollars and i this car is going to be a daily driver so if anyone as any advice just reply back. Thanks
I have been on the fence as well with suspension. I really like the price of the Progress CS2s and they have great reviews from the few I looked up. However, a lot of people still highly recommend the Koni/GC setup. I, however, intend to take my car out to Auto-X on the weekends so I will probably save up for the Koni/GC setup since it has been proven on the track.
Since you say it is just your daily driver I would probably recommend the Progress CS2s since you're not looking to ever take your car to the track and they're in your budget, though I have no personal experience with them.

With your budget and goals, the progress CS-2's would be good. Proven product at a very reasonable price. Hard to beat them for what they cost. My list is still $400-$600, progress, $800-$1000 Koni/GC, $1000-$1200 AMR, above $1500, Remote reservoir Eibach, Moton, Ohlins, ect.

There is a thread at the top of the forum that helps with this question
If I had it to do over again, I would get Koni/GC over my Progress CS-II.
Though the CS-II was a great setup for learning how to autocross. The nice thing about Koni's is that they will stay with you as you change spring rates for autocross. my 350/350 would only need new springs to be a whole new setup and it wouldn't be under damped. 550/650 would be just fine on OTS yellows making my entire suspension upgrade for next season much cheaper and easier to install.
