Default Aftermarket Radiator Advice

I'm thinking I should replace my 22 year old radiator for a new one. I have an HF with B16 swap running AC with a PR3 modified AC Compressor bracket holding a Dseries CRX Sanden unit and stock lines.

I have an HF crx; so my stock radiator is single row and shorter, stopping about 3 inches short on the drivers side compared to the SI/DX ones. Overall package thickness with stock fans is a tight fit with the stock B16 header, but works well.

I'm looking for advice on aftermarket alum radiators before this old one lets go. I've seen godspeed, mishimoto, etc...all of which come with dual slimline puller fans, and usually dual core radiators.

As clearance is already at a minimum, I don't want to go any thicker than the stock with the somewhat bulky fans in there.

Is there any room free'd up with aftermarket and dual slim fans/integrated housing units?

Looking for recommedations on best fitment and clearance. Thanks!

That was my original plan, but having checked prices the more fancy alum ones with integrated fan housing seem worth considering.

By the time you source (pay for) those slim fans and force the hangers through your new SI radiator and bend around your fins, a plug and play system like the mishimoto rad+housing+fans doesn't seem bad (if it fits with the b16 and AC compressor that is).

I got a full-size koyo from JHPUSA. I looked around, looking at fit issues, and it seemed to be the best one.

The OEM full length radiator was made by Denso. Denso still makes them, and you can get them cheaper in the Denso box vs the Honda box. Only thing is they make the "Automatic" version and that's it (same with the Honda one). The only difference being the little nipples on the lower tank for the integrated trans cooler line. Not a big deal since you just run them capped.

Part #: 221-3221

You can get them as low as $70 + shipping if you search google.

Is that with plastic or metal end caps? My HF shortie has metal endcaps, and probably the only reason it has lasted this long even thou on borrowed time.

I saw that you had to cut up the front end to make it fit because it was too big.

The Koyo requires a little cutting but not a big deal. you can run one fan without interference.
