Default My Coupes Unholy Resurrection

i purchased the car around march 2011 for 800 bucks, it had a small amount of rust, some quarter panel damage and was completely riced out. on the bright side it cane with 1 peace tien suspension, full 2.5 inch exhaust from the header back, boot leg header, and a subframe bar..not bad for 800.

Sh*t was Balling son!! lol

so with in a week i got to work sourced a front bumper, ordered a grill and Ctr lip and removed all the white panels from the interior..(side note Car had full si interior)

Drove it around gutted for awhile.
this is what i saw when i removed the front bumper

no bigger bent back out and replaced top half of core.
then i noticed one side of my car was siting high and discovered this

depressssinggggg!!!!

ok now fast forward to august 2011, i was driving a friend to work around 10pm and it was ridiculously foggy out so i stopped at walmart (which so happened to be his job) and purchased some fogs for 17 bucks and installed them right there in the parking lot.

Painted them yellow the next day at my job

Got bored one day and painted my Old steelies...they were one of a kind.

then a friend of mine wanted my rims and the steelies i painted so i traded him for his SI's

Played around with purple seeing i was in the process of painting a friends rims purple

Got a harness bar in trade for timing my friends y8

October came (2011) and my Girlfriends sisters BF begged me everyday for a week to trade my si's for his Mud Duck rims, me being nice i went ahead and traded.
Went threw 3 colors not liking any of them

then winter came and i did absolutely nothing but drive

Finally Tax season came around and seeing that my GF and I were expecting a son in march i didnt go nuts..I purchased a Wink Mirror, 8k HIDS (they suck ***** by the way) and re did my head liner, shift boot and arm rest.

then i left her alone, spent every waking moment with my son.

Fast Forward to July 2012, ive been geting real busy with body work and plan on painting the car next month, color of choice being Satin Black.

Nothing has changed other then the front end being painted flat black, the front end has seen better days but that will all change soon.

Pulled out my carpet and tried to shampoo it but there was no saving it and i was Tired of smelling Bacon and Butt Cheeks every day

Started sanding down the problem areas of the car also starting prepping for my replacement quarter panel

got tired of the front end looking the way it did so i purchased a Vis CF evo style hood (200) bucks

and a new shift **** for 30

like the turn around so far. your wheel choices and color schemes have been pretty ricey in my eyes. other than that, i cant say much. go 2000 front end. and i think you need a whole new radiator support. yours is all busted my man, your front end doesnt line up for donkey butt.

LMAO Donkey Butt, I agree with you ill be fixing that as soon as i get the time to weld...i'm working on two other cars...A turbo 3gen swapped mr2, and a 98 audio a4 2.8.
Hopefully this week ill have the front end done...but im staying with the 96 98 front, the 2k conversion has been way over done IMO...sexy but way over done.

whew a lot to do...

2 suggestions. Get rid of that lip. Its the 99-00 wannabe copy, and it screams cheap. Get an actual 96-98 style lip. Secondly I would not go with 'satin' paint on any car less than an S2000. As a 90's Honda, no matter how nice the rest of the car may be, its always going to look 'unpainted' and especially because you've been driving around flat black, even moreso.

lol i was expecting the worse when i read your user name lol, the lip is coming off....i use to like it but its gotten old fast. as for the color...my heart is sex on satin black or just a matte black....im not interested in anything glossy.

Thanks for the feed back
