B16c block with pr3-3 head, p73 ecu car reclines at 7000rpm????
I have a b18c block with pr3-3 head with the p73 ecu but car is failing to redline at 8900 rpm! It is hitting redline or fuel cut at 7000 rpm! The only CEL I have code reads 4 slow check engine lights and 1 fast one, so code 4-1 with I'm pretty sure it's a o2 code! The motor wire harness is obd1 and the ecu is obd2 hook in with jumper harness! No my tach is not off and yes my ecu is good! List of mod's are elderbroc intake manafold , toda cam gears, aem fuel rail , intake , Apexi exhaust, custom header that's all I can think of! It's hitting vtec also. Someone told me it could be ignition coil in the dizzy plugs and wires! I'm stumped please help

no your not bro just because you have a jdm itr motor doesnt mean you post in here this is for people that own integra type r's

I own an integra type r what the hell you talking about this motor is in a integra type r. You going to help me or just be an *** hole
I love when trial users come in here for help and become a jerk. Note to you Jreu102, it's kind of hard to get the answers you need when you come in new to a forum and end up getting an attitude. Just my .02.
I'm not trying to be an *** hole sorry if you think that. I'm just asking for help cuz I can't figure it out and instead I keep getting people being dumb telling me I'm in the wrong spot when I clearly am. Not just wanting answers man not trying to insult a or be rude!
oh come on. a lot of you guys are absolute dicks to anyone who doesn't do a vin check or post pics with proof that they have their parts in an itr shell
OP, sounds like you have a cobbled together setup, regardless of what chassis it is in. Try the hybrid or all-motor forum. I think you'll find that not a lot of us have a OBD-I setup running a B16b head with an OBD-II ecu and whatever harness it takes to make that work.
Also, you never told us what change made this occur. Has this setupever worked in the past?
You want people to help you, but you provide crappy details.

What P73 ECU are you using?
The USDM ECU needs a USDM engine harness and it also needs the extra OBD2 sensors added to the motor. Things like Crank Flux sensor and VTEC pressure swtich that aren't present on an OBD2 JDM motor.
If your using the JDM ECU, it may work, but your really gonna need to check your wiring. I know the JDM OBD2A ITR's don't have the two sensors I posted above. Even though it's an OBD2 ECU, it only runs OBD1 style software. So it doesn't look for the extra OBD2 stuff.
The hybrid forum is really your best bet for a custom pieced together setup. The ITR forum doesn't deal with this type of stuff, so they can't really help. All they know is plug in the stock parts and everything works like stock. For custom mix-n-match setups your going to need to give lots of details like Chassis, year/make/model/trim as well as similar details of the various bits used to build the motor.
Most likely your problem is that an OBD2 chassis & computer are NOT going to play well with an OBD1 motor cause **** is missing.

Some body told me it was a ingniton coil? I tried to provide all the details I could, I just bought the car and trying to figure it out my self! The changes I made were I took off the 550cc injectors and 60 mm throttle body and the p28 ecu! Now has stock throttle body and stock injectors. Any body think it could be the dizzy or map sencer

you need to start testing, not guessing
