I would love to have more information from the engine. VTEC light would be good. Also, nobody can feel the VTEC switch over in a stock GSR.

i think vtec lights are just as bad as sticking those dohc vtec stickers on your cars,.... vtec overkill.

i dont see a problem with people trying to work on their own car, maybe he doesnt have enough money to do major mods and wants to just fool around?

try it out, just make sure you dont use a high voltage light, you dont want to have your vtec not engage cuz of it. you might want to put in an ON/OFF switch too.

i think after time with the vtec light, you'll understand everybody, because it does get slightly annoying[by my friend's account].

Might be useful in certain road racing situations to make sure that you are in the proper gear to stay on the high cam.

Whats the big deal if he wants to do it. The light is in the car, not on the freakin hatch so everyone can see when he hits 4400.

Also even with an intake (AEM) you can only hear a slight change in tone if you are listening without the radio at 4400. What you do here is the secondaries at 5750, which has nothing to do with VTEC.

To original poster: If you want to, give it a try. Don't let anyone tell you what to do. You want it, then do it.

how about a vtec switch. the orange crx in this months superstreet had one before he got his b16a. that would be kinda cool but it would probably get kinda annoying when trying to race someone and having to worry about hitting the button at the right spot.

didn't even know you could do that. I guess it's cool, but I'm fine without it.
