ok, I got my smsp header ordered. I also have motor back exhaust ordered. so I guess this thread can be deleted.

 

I have a mint b19. Unless youre running a cam bigger than pro3 and a bore bigger than 86, this will work and make power just fine

 

Yea but with the b19 one I hear you have to grind some of the block off as well as the bracket that connect the bottom of the block to the bottom of the bell housing. My buddy might want that one for his built c5

 

To run a B19 header you just can't run the ITR tranny to block brace. Most guys don't even run the stamped steel flywheel cover. No grinding of the block is needed.

Sorry about the grinding block statement :hugs:, thought I read it somewhere but was way off. I'm not too smart on any of this stuff really but I'm set on smsp. I have been reading as much as I possible could on HT about b20v header choices. I know the b19 one will be way better than what I have now but I'm sure your b20vtec 4 2 1 will do better all than both. Please correct me if I'm wrong for what I have. Here's my build:

Skunk2 70mm tb to ported jdm itr im
dsm 450s with oe pump
p&p jdm itr head with stock valves
supertech springs and skunk2 pro2 cams
b20 oe crank and rods with 85mm rs machine pistons
12.5:1 + machine work. maybe 12.8?
209whp with 153 torque on hub dyno

I'm hoping 3 inch exhaust (from you) and the b20vtec header and I'll be 225+whp.

 

Just wondering, How much would you take for it with shipping?
