I believe the h23 is an external coil so you're gonna need to get an internal coil distributor for an h22a which is the same. It is called the td-60u on ebay.

The h23 also has a knock sensor so you will need to add a knock sensor wire. And obviously you will need an h23a ecu.

You can use either your own tranny or the h23a tranny with the h23 engine.

just leave the block in the car, put the h23 head on it, with an f23 head gasket, and change the water and oil lines, and block the 2 oil ports or drill them a little bit, the dizzy is external i think as well. everything else matches up even the manifolds and exhaust

use the h23 tranny, i think its the same length but ive heard it is much stronger!

Putting an H23 head on an F22 block is a waste of time. If you have access to a complete H23 do the full swap.

Facts vs opinions. Just putting that out there! The info is easily found via Google.....

The H23 has different gearing than the F22. It's not too short but not too long. It's the middle of the road between the H22 and F22 transmissions. They are the same strength.

The G will be a waste of time seeing that the OP has no build for this swap.
