Default ef mini me overheating

i got my mini me running but some how when i was pouring water in it look like some oil mix water or brownish didnt think much and some how it keeps overheating i have to keep pouring water the thermostat is not sticking these no water my oil so that rules out head gasket it may be leaking im not sure from where no smoke comes from the engine bay so i cant see where the leak is coming from. Im going to check on the fuel pump maybe that could have a leak but it was running fine when it was dpfi.

Headgasket.
Water doesn't have to be in the oil for it to be a headgasket. If you reused the stock headstuds I can guarantee you it's the gasket.

yea thats what my mechanic said i guess i will need to get arp head studs and a new head gasket and ohh im using a y8 head gasket to bump the compression. But why would the old head studs cause it to be the head gasket.

OEM headstuds are one use only.

dam all the mini me write ups said to re-use the old head bolts. And where is all that coolant going too? ot doesnt smoke or nothing it just keeps heating up and seems to be eating up all the water.

If it's not leaking it then it's being burned. If you can get a look at your piston tops, see if they are pretty clean.

Not really. That would be extreme. My hatch with a bad headgasket burned coolant and never smoked. As you can see headgaskets do not have a set bunch of systems.

You should do compression and leakdown tests on the engine.

got 180 across the board also switch over some coolant lines some where in the place plugged 2 coolant lines that where leaking and wired my fan to a switch lol the temp stayed below the middle also when i first put coolant in it looked like oil mixed with water came out the radiator but i drained and it was good afterwards so i think it isnt my headgasket and doesnt overheat no more

You have to find the source of the leak. That's it.
