First Honda, First Post! 160xxx - 203xxx no problems!
Glad to be here.

Problem : past two weeks : Have been having to wait about 10 seconds for fuel pump noise, click, engine light off to be able to crank and run.... no problems after that... before that sequence you could not crank

today : waited and waited and waited while looking at a solid check engine light... at last the sequence began and i was ready to go... started..died after a few seconds... key to off, key to on.... waited for sequence, completed right away, started died...


I want to make sure it is the fuel pump before i jump into it.
I would be thankful for any wisdom.

I know there are fuel pump threads already..... they don't seem to be my exact problem and I am sorry but I do not have time at the moment to read through all of them... thanks for understanding.

 

You should verify volage to the pump before replacing the pump......no voltage, it is not the pump.
