na i found out the hard way by driving down the road and hearing some pretty funky clunking noises. put it in neutral and still was hearing stuff and when i got stopped it stalled out. i pushed the clutch in and started it and as soon as i let the clutch out even in neutral it stalls out like im in gear and not giving gas to start.... also if its in neutral i cant push it so it is currently a few miles from my house on the side of the road
So wait, just to figure it out correctly. You're wanting to use parts from the Si Tranny on the sohc zc tranny you have currently in your car?
How complete is the si tranny? I would just say use the si tranny IMO, but just answer the above question.

im wanting to use the whole si trans in my car with the zc. im just wondering cause the si is cable and the sohc zc from 95 so its hydro. atleast i thought anything 92 and over is hydro.
92+ should all be hydro, not sure of any that are NOT. I'm guessing you definitely didn't do the swap since you don't know.
Your si tranny will mate up fine with the zc sohc... Just remove whatever hydro **** you have installed and drop in the si tranny. It's butt-****ingly simple. The axles (as well as the hubs) may (you need to search to see what you need, i forget) need to be changed, I forget the spline count off the top of my head but if you search you'll see what you need.
Unless your crx is converted to hydro you can bolt the si trans right in, zc.and si trans are exactly the same for cable zc and cable si. The hydro si is probably the same as a hydro zc, if its still good all you need is the tob. Everything else is the same.
I mean fully converted not the converter plate thing off eBay

honestly i dont know because i bought my car with the zc vtec in it and after taking out my old trans it was actually already a 90 si trans. so the guy before me either kept the a6 flywheel, got a new one, or the old one worked with it. ha i know this doesnt help at all. since those are pretty much all the options one has. just make a post called "what flywheel for a sohc zc non-vtec to use 91 si trans" i wish i could help you more but im still new to alot of this as well. if you already have the a6 in your car you can just take the flywheel off of that and im like 95% sure it will bolt right on to your new d16 since alot of that stuff is transferable on d series.
