Default groaning noise at steering wheel

i have a 91 Si hatch with B16a (Hasport motor mounts) dropped on some Skunks. I noticed when i adjust the ride height to max low. That the steering wheel makes a groaning noise when turning slightly. It seems like the noise is tranfering from the steering rack to the column then to the steering wheel. Anyone also experience this scenerio and what is the remedy? Thanks!

probably rubbing against the wheel wells or something of that sort, or if you fully depress your clutch and let your car goto idle rpms when it happens, it could be the power steering taking its toll on the low rpms, almost stalling the car out
