Found some Neuspeed springs in the junkyard...
Don't laugh, I do want the F&F coilovers, but $600 is a 1/3 of what the car is worth. They all seem like they are in good shape, I think I can get them for close to $50 for the set, pick up some aftermarket shocks and I can have a set up for like $250. What do you think? Not going for a slammed look or to be a supercross champion. I just want a smallish drop and better handling. My shocks/springs have 250k on them from the original car. Im sure I could put a ford pinto set up on it and it would ride better...
not going to lie i think you should be able to get those springs for cheaper than 50 from the junkyard...i say pick them up if they are cheaper and either put them on your car or put them on CL and flip them for 80 or 90 and get your F&F's
I hope so. I might have to buy the whole assembly b/c the spring is compressed. It says $10 per spring on their website. I'm going tomorrow so I'll ask them. Going to pick up some kyb blues prob. Thanks for the advice guys
you might luck out...i know that when the weight was off the wheels the shock would extend enough to the point where the spring wasnt compressed at all...if the spring is short enough then you should just be able to simply unscrew the top had without the worry of the spring shooting off
Went today. Didn't get the springs. This junkard is a trip though. They charge you $3 to get in. I had a my bag full of tools and I forgot I had a few random accord parts on the bottom. I went to check out and they searched my bag, saw the parts and accused me of stealing. Tlold me I had to pay for my own parts or they would call the police. Lol what a trip. If anyone is around the Jacksonville, FL area don't goto Ace Pick A Part
that sucks man, im moving there after i finish with my second degree in about a year and a half. my best friend is vice pres of team lo-riders car club over there. im over in pcola and its 1 dollar to get in and they never check your bag.

I rolled on Neuspeed greens for a long time back in the late 90s and they were one of the smoothest riding low cost springs I've ever had on a Honda.
yep thats what i'm on, its actually better than stock, especially over rough roads. i'm not sure how.
OP
keep an eye out for koni yellow's theyre awesome, adjustable and you the sprinch perch is adjustable a little bit, since some drop springs dump the back a little more, its a nice feature
