I would save my money and wait... especially if you don't have aftermarket shocks to install with them. IMHO, most springs aren't too bad if paired with a good shock, but if you install them with the stock struts and slam it, then be prepared for a **** ride.

Get some GC's or Skunk2's (sleeve coilovers) and some Koni's or AGX's, and you'll be set to go.

I would change the shocks also. So what set up do you think would give me the best ride for least amount of money... ive seen some cars hit a little bumb and not stop bouncing for hundreds of feet...... I WANT TO AVOID THAT !!! thanks

It's unavoidable. I'm the Honda-Tech spelling ****. I can't help it.

Waist is that big fat thing under my belt.

P.S. To the thread starter - save up and get some quality suspension components.

get some GC's and a good alignment. Try to avoid the dealership for an alignment job b/c there lasers on the alignment machine arent made for a lowered car. If you dont want Coilovers get H&R sport springs and some Koni Yellows awsome ride. And dont leave on the OEM springs because there prolly worn out too much right (because of the model year of your car) now to be able to handle a lowered car definitely do both now itll be cheaper.

If they are free I would go with them. Just use them on your stock struts and save up your $ for a nice suspension setup. Any spring is better than hacking the stocks like a lot of people do. I've went through damn near every spring and strut combo you could name. I just ordered a set of Tein SS coilover dampers so I thought I'd give a nice set of real coilovers a try. I just hope I'm not dissapointed like have been with all the other setups I've had and throw them away in a few months
