Default Transmission differences...

Hey all-

Im picking up a new trans for my 90 CRX Si sometime this week, and the guy who I am getting it from thinks its from a 90+ Si but hes not exactly sure. What can I do to identify the differences between a 90+, 89 and 88. I think the 88 has 21 splines vs 20 on all the others, but im not 100% sure. Can someone clear this up for me?

TIA

-Todd
