hey guys, i feel as if my car is never done. Anyways i live in okinawa, japan and it gets super hot and humid here. i am tired of sweating all the way to work. Now its a 97 type r and it has no ac at all. I know its going to be time consuming and a hassle but it would be worth it because the heat is killing me. now i say previous post here about a/c's but the links are all down. Can anybody tell me what i need and how i install it. or if i go to the japanese dealership do you know around the price it will cost. for now i just want to see what makes the whole system and how it is wired. thank you for your time guys.

 

I don't think you need to have it done at the dealership. There should be plenty of trashed or junked DC2 out there that you can get the complete AC system from (even the "AC button").

 

there are alot of dc2's out here that are junked. the only thing is instead of being made with b series they are the zc engines. will everything still bolt up to my b series engine? i have the button and the dash and the blower motor. i guess the guy who owned the car before me removed all the lines and such.

 

they have honda smx's here and they have a b series engine in them, can i take the ac from that and the lines and everything from a dc2?

 

I don't know much about the AC system.
