Default P28 chipping issues.

I have a d16z6 and I got a chip for it and the guy before me had already chipped it but removed it and cut J1. When I put it in and went for the test drive it felt the same and I decided to see if removing the chip would flash a code or go into limp mode. But nothing happened and rpm stayed the same. Plugged it back and still same I didnt sawder J1 In cuz ran out but its not lose I will try to post a pic.

As long as the wire is soldered in and making good contact on both sides, closing the circuit, it should work.

The only resistor you would put in there would be a 0 Ohm (single black line), amse thing as a strand of wire, left over resistor leg.
