Was wondering if anyone has any experience tracking these. Seriously considering buying a pair for the EM1, and want to know if anyone has had issue at the higher track temps with seals or gaskets leaking. For $40 per caliper it's a damn good deal versus buying new from Honda.
Just make sure they are "loaded". If you have to source the pad retaining clips or other hardware the "great price" quickly turns shitty.
Ask me how I know.......

I purchased the Centric ITR calipers "semi-loaded" (Caliper, bracket, hardware, no pads). If you plan on getting track pads, I would probably go this route. I'm not sure which pads they will give you when you purchase the "loaded" caliper. Something to look into.
I've been running mine (street and auto-x) for a year and they work great. I haven't been to the track with them however, so cannot comment in that regard.
On a side note, be prepared to paint the caliper before putting them on your car. Mine did not have the OEM coating on it and started to rust after a few weeks.

I used to use a high temp moly (like a valvoline or Mobile1) but lately I just stuck in the Amsoil heavy duty off road NGL2 grease that I used in my axles.
I have a 5 race weekend coming up in 90+ degree heat so I'll see how it holds up, I may need something higher temp, I may not but I really like the properties of that Heavy Duty Offroad Grease.

I did notice that Centric also sells a "disc brake hardware kit" which I'm pretty sure is basically just those springs/clips (and maybe some other little parts?). And that kit is something like 1/8 the price of ordering those springs from the dealer. (I was looking at Legend calipers, not ITR, so those prices are likely different)
Some pads dont require the spring clips.
I have had several hawk pads amongst others that didnt need the spring clips.
I called hawk and confirmed that my brake set up didnt require them with the pad i was using.
Its safe to assume depending on the application that some pads dont need clips.
Again its going to depend on the manufacturer of the pads.

I purchased Centric P/N: 14140050 & 14140049 Premium Semi-Loaded Caliper. It came with everything minus the pads. This includes the clip that holds the pads in place. Whether you need it or not, I would take dirty's advice and check depending on pad manufacturer.
I'm aware that you don't always need them, I'm just doing some general research and shopping for a possible brake upgrade later this year. I'm unaware of what pad I'll be running and still trying to figure out what caliper (ITR vs 2pot Legend).
Thanks for the info guys!
I just received my Centric ITR semi-loaded calipers and Centric standard rotors for the 2007 Mini non-S. Looks to be a good quality rebuild. First time on track will be ITR Expo at Mid-Ohio. I've had their calipers on my GSR for a while and haven't had any issues, minus the rusting.
I'm running the mini rotors as well. They work fine. The only thing I noticed was that they are about 2lbs lighter than the prelude rotors (12lbs vs 14lbs) which may have an effect on cooling capacity. I'm not a competitive racer, so this isn't an issue for me.
Ryan B: Same thing happened to me regarding the rust. As a recommendation to the people using the Centric ITR remans, paint them before they go on your car.
Chad, I purchased my calipers for $32 each. Now, RockAuto shows them for $42 each.

Just think about your actual wheels. If they are an aftermarket wheel, they likely have enough clearance for the 14mm stud to go through them, and still work fine. OE wheels will have a 13mm hole where the wheel stud comes through.
