general civic question about hubcaps and non-oem lugnuts
just incase, 98 civic ex.
well the time has come; i've had my car go from stock to slammed on some nice wheels; from shattering my oil pan to getting it back on the road and now im ready to put my car back to stock and enjoy a honda for what its worth; reliability and simplicity(only at 160k miles &i just did timing belt/waterpump and a clutch). When i went from steelies to new wheels, i got new lugnuts and threw away my old ones (with the plastic ring to hold the hubcaps on). im buying hubcaps soon, but im almost convinced that the lugnuts i currently have won't be of width to hold the hubcaps on. will any run of the mill lug nuts retain the hubcaps or will i have to shell out a couple more dollars on some OEM nuts with that plastic ring.(look em up, they're like $5 a nut)

nah they're not crazy or anything. they're mb wheels mesh-x i just dont wanna be flashy to theives. i live in an area where people sleep with one eye open because civics get stolen every week
wow.. that blows. i live in an area where civic are few and far between.. lol, you see them and there stock and beat up, i get alot of attention (positive) but my f150 ft in alot better here lol
