Im hoping for a bit of advice on a 89 crx si.
I was finally able to locate another decent head for this thing and want your advice on tuning it. It still has to be street legal and would like the work on the head to be in the area of 800
Im pretty good with a dremmel though, so im sure i could save for better parts doing some of it myself.
I would like to keep the stock guides and seats. Ive read that a stage 2 cam might be the way to go with a port.
I do not want to change from the single cam.
Anyways let me know what you guys think.
Thanks in advance.

Don't try to port the head yourself. You will mess it up.
Find a good cam company that sells good cams (personally, I would track down a Exospeed SR909 cam), find a D16Z6 or D16Y8 intake manifold, and do headers/exhaust if you haven't (eBay for the header, exhaust depends on your budget/taste).
Tuning you will probably have to convert to OBD1. If you can find someone that can tune OBD0/TurboEdit, do that. Eitherway, you'll need the appropriate OBDx ECU and have it chipped and you'll want to invest in a good wideband.

d15b2 heads, and possibly others, are the same as an a6 head( other than the cams. )get one of those, or 10. and learn how to port your own head. save money. the cam suggested by sxysweed i hear is good. for a cheaper option delta does good regrinds of a cam you send them.(pretty sure you can send in a b2 cam to get reground for an a6). i just got done with an a6 rebuild myself, so any more questions let me know. while its fresh in my head haha good luck.
