Like the tittle states, I can ride all day with it on 3, but as soon as I go to 4 bye bye ac, any ideas?

 

Does the A/C quit or does the cabin blower quit?

 

AC quits the air gets warm. I know the compressor works because when I turn the ac off/on I can feel power loss.

The more information you give, the quicker the solution can be found. With and without the A/C on, do all four blower speeds work?

 

probably the blower motor resistor is bad, mine only works on high..

 

Yes. Now I found out yesterday that if I do highway driving with no stop and go it will work 1-4. As soon as I get into the city or stop and go, it slowly starts to blow warm air. And sorry about the slow response time...

 

Is the condenser fan running when the A/C blows warm?

 

Not 100% sure, how would I check that.

 

Pull over and leave engine running and A/C on when the air blows. Open hood and check whether condenser fan is not running when compressor clutch is engaged.
