If you having this much trouble just understanding this then stay away from cars. High=lean low =rich. The number is air:fuel, so if you have a higher number of air it is leaner

Your running that when? At idle?part throttle?WOT? Is your motor NA or FI? That's not considered really lean unless your getting that at WOT on FI. If you don't know 14.7:1 is statiometric

14.7:1 is complete combustion (everything is expended). You dont want to run that high under load, as you want some factor of safety set into the system, NA, I think you could get away with High 12s at WOT, under boost, you want mid 11s
Ill have to check what it is at Throttle and and Boost, I don't remember idle. Ill ahve to check, but i have another post in Force induction with every step taken for cooling system
So ill have to check.

Yes I know you can write that but you didn't know how to read a wideband? Or you just copied that? You say that but you didn't even mention what your set up is and if that's at idle, part throttle or wot.

Idle is around 12, and anytime im driving its 14.5 even in boost.

set is a b17 gsr block, gsr hydro tranny, t70 turbo, walbro 255 fuel pump, stock injectors, everything else is stock, been working ont he car and finally got it running now i can't drive it cause its over heating. Ill be doing more works and checks on it tommorow but im 100% certain that my cooling system is operating correctly.
Ill check tommorow again what the readings are. Is there anyway i can adjust it myself? so i can atleast drive it to the shop for a tune.

Yea that's lean in boost and rich at idle.

What EMS are you running? You can adjust your takes but I honestly wouldn't advise it if tipi couldn't even read a wideband, not trying to be mean but its not just that easy. I say don't drive it anymore and tow it to the tuner. As for the overheating it could do with running lean but its most likely not the issue

This has nothing to do with your overheating issue.

tuner is 2 hr hours away thats why I want to atleast drive it there. and this is the last thing i can think of for the over heating issue, because ive checked everything else.

ive litterally have nothing else to check for overheating other than it being my gauge or it running to lean. it overheats to just over 3/4 of the way hot but never goes to full H

That's to hot. Its not the map though. Check for air in your system. What radiator are you using?

Again it is not even related to your overheating issue. Are your fans coming on? Do you have enough coolant? Have you bled the cooling system?

New thick radiator, no brand name, been pressure tested at 15psi + cap, bled system, new thermostat, good water pump, fans are coming on, has 50/50 coolant plust water wetter. New hoses, Even ran cleaner through it and pressure flushed it for clogged areas. Its all good. Nothing in the cooling system. new ECT sensor and coolant temp sensors.

If you are running 14.5:1 under boost, I would say that could have an effect on your overheating issue. Same with running too rich at idle. Too rich or too lean can both cause heat issues. Under boost you should be between 11.5:1 - 13:1 AFR depending on how your engine reacts.

Personally I would disconnect/disable your turbo and get the car running properly without it first. Running it without boost until you get to your tuner could save you from melting a few pistons.
