Default Engine acting up and turning off on civic wagon HELP!!!

Recently did a swap on my 1991 Honda Civic Wagon cuz it had a bad engine soo I replaced it for another same one and every thing is back how it supposed to ... but the engine acts up and starts bogging when driving it anyone know what can be causing this .... what I noticed is that when accelerating the RPM's go crazy and the engine starts sounding like if it had 2 step or something and when driving it it turns off over a while if I let go of the gas and it takes time to start again .... anyone know what can be causing this HELP!!!
