I don't think so. But take it to a machine shop for expert opinions.

What's the argument against buying new bearings?

You don't recondition bearings, you just replace them. I can't really tell if a couple of those are just a funny color or scored, but if they're scored, just look on the for sale threads and see if you can find replacements. Can't be too expensive, a lot of those motors get grenaded and tore apart. You could probably get the rod reconditioned, it's just not going to be worth it because I know I've seen whole motors go for $50 on craigslist or just given away free after someone throws a rod...

Replace them, and check the crank for scoring.

This really isn't an area to cheap out in.

They're bearings. Bearings are cheap. Bearings are a wear item. Just replace them and save yourself headache.

There's no bearings there. That's just the rods.

Yeah. It won't be my first engine build. I was just a little iffy about what I gonna do. I'll prolly buy some bisi rods (319 bux and a set of vitaras) and just boost it. Lol... might as well have some fun with it right?!

OIL!!!!!!! As stated above just replace them and go on your way. Those rods are some of if not the weakest out of the Honda motors.
