Default wanting to turbo 97 civic b16a2

hi, i know im new here, but ive been looking around and reading, and such, but im wondering what do i need to do this? engine is a b16a2,

i see some turbo kits on ebay, i found some by cr racing, which from past experiences they are half decent, but then i wonder about fueling, i dont think those kits include some sort of fuel controller do they? it says stuff like "turbo timer" and "boost controller" but nothing about fueling

and then aside from the fueling, what can i expect as in, what boost can i run on stock motor? is it smart to? can i run 91 pump still?

im in the process of rebuilding the engine as it eats up alot of oil, so if i do decide to turbo it, i could buy some lower compression pistons

but i wonder on all this, now im not looking for any crazy power, but just some fun..., im also looking to stick to 91 pump gas,

let me know your experiences and tips, im not so much new to turbo'ing stuff and engines etc, ive done abunch of all that my self, but im just trying to gather info, Thanks!!

Do people not even TRY to read up on anything anymore? I read up for the better part of a year before I bought my first part. You should know the answers to all these questions if you're "not so much new to turbo'ing stuff and engines".

k, im trying to get some quick info, ill be straight, THE FUEL CONTROLLER, ive read ive searched....

when it comes to turbo'ing stuff... ive done it, ive taken my snowmobile and home made turbo kit it, custom efi controller for boost, etc, i went into a world where maybe 6 people have done it and those who did where into drag racing, im mountain, i blew my engine up once but in the end i got it right, and from that ive learnt alot even then.....

and not just that but even with my snowmobile i was told of atleast what should be good ideas to do to make it work on this or that,

so im just asking simple, somebody could simply say to me, 9:1 comp ratio or something, w/e it is, you could simply say this and this should = this, but instead you take your time to tell me to go search more and more, maybe ive missed something, sure,

but this engine im taking apart is not 6 months from now, its 2 weeks from now...

to any other forums ive been on for a long time, ive never told somebody, go search, its there,

if i know what they need, i answer them, or be as helpful as i can try to be even when im not sure...

otherwise, if everything on a forum that everybody could ask has been answered, then why is anybody here? why not lock up the whole forum and put a big thing that says, anything you need to know, search....

but a forum is here to ask and share information....

*sarcasm*Lemme just get out my handy pre made generic turbo kit parts.list *sarcasm*

Please read the faq's stickied at the top of this forum.. That will better educate you with the basics of turbocharging a Honda.

And the most important thing to know is psi is irrelevant.. Its about the volume of air the turbochargerm outputs... As in a t25 and a gt42 running at the same pressure ratio move two entirely different volumes of air
CFM is what makes power... Not Pressure. And realistically on a b16 275ish is about the highest would go on a stock motor for the sake of reliability

It's not even that. You cannot honestly think you're the only person that ever came in here and asked this question do you? Google isn't broken is it? The link in my signature isn't broken is it? Couldn't find an app for it? Nothing new is being done to these cars so one should know that if it's been done BEFORE, there should be a record of it somewhere.

I keep saying this; Asking these questions is like walking into a library and asking the librarian to read you the books.
