Default Apex N1 Type R coilovers...installed and short write up

well, i finally installed my Apex N1 (type R) coilovers yesterday (sunday) afternoon with a friend. i also installed a set of brembo x-drilled and slotted rotors on the front with AEM pads. all i can say for the coilovers is, they are worth the $$$...including the Type R lower control arms. the ride is rough but i can live with it. the handling is very smooth and responsive. can't say enough about this product. i didn't adjust the stiffness yet nor did i adjust the height...i think it's a little too low.
the rotors and new brake pads were also a nice upgrade (from stock). the brembo x-drilled and slotted rotors work well and improved my stopping distance by about 10-15'...maybe more.
it took me and my friend about 3-4 hours to change the suspension and the brakes...with air tools and all necessary equipment. we had some problems with the driver's side wheel studs breaking off....and stripping. the rear suspension upgrade with LCA swap took like 15 mins for both sides..maybe less!!!
3 bolts on each side...all on the control arm...really fast and easy!!!
i'll be adding more observations to this thread as i start pushing my 1992 hatch a little more. oh...i still have the stock motor in it. the 'replacement' is almost done...just need the cylinder head back and i'm set to go.
