Default d15b8 oil pump question

I am in the process of replacing my oil pump on my d15b8 engine. I have bought two different oil pumps now both with the same result, When i put the oil pump on the block, one side of it sticks up about 2-3 mm above the flat surface where the oil pan sits on. Has anyone else had this problem. What am I supposed to do? The old one fits on there perfect with no problem.

Get the right oil pump? It sounds like you're buying the wrong replacement pumps.
