89 civic high idle and bouncing idle
89 with a d16a6, manual
not sure what's going on, idles around 2k, sometimes 2.5k. If I'm at a light, ill stomp on the gas real quick and bring it to about 3k, then it would drop down to around 1k and bounce between 1k and 2k.
This is what i've tried already:
-IACV cleaning
-checked for vacuum
-changed thermo, parked on incline (front end facing up) let air bubble out then opened bleeder valve
-adjusted bronze colored screw on throttle body (flat face screw facing the air intake side of TB.
-repositioned distributor while idling
-carb cleaner inside throttle body while running
Nothing i've done has made a difference. Before I changed the thermo i would be able to stomp on the gas at a light, and drop the idle to 1k and it would stay there until the next time i touched the gas pedal.
I'm thinking a sticky butterfly valve, but not sure.

No wonder I stopped frequenting HT, bunch of people read a problem, or open up a thread and if there isn't pics, no one comments. I've searched, but no resolve. No, I don't have a vacuum leak or anything like that, because like I said, when i step on the gas quickly, the idle goes to "normal", then raises as soon as i accelerate and stop again.
