This is not tech related. Should you buy this car? That is up to you, if you like it buy it. An auto b-series swap, why?

IMO, having to get the pedals out is such a crap job that it's just worth buying a manual car.

The nice thing about our cars is that swapping out the pedals doesn't require drilling and tapping anything. Having said that I haven't done it myself but have taken out and put back in the pedal assembly for my car(5 speed).

i'd hate to hear you go on about a motor swap then. pedal swap is not hard just time consuming. but then again while you have the dash out and all that why not take the time to replace the gaskets on the vents, and clean years of dust out of the car?

o/p the catch about auto to manual swaps with sedans... 88-89 sedans did not come with the clutch cable hole or support bracket welded in the car, like the 90-91's did. so think about that

I picked up a mint auto 91 dx hatch knowing later I would swap for a manual. Two years have past and now I'm rocking a b2/y8 with a Si tranny

But pulling the pedals is such a back-breaking pain-in-the-*** job.
