I gotta give it up to Cedric (Fastguy) and his crew for getting the car back to the lanes for the finals of 10.50 to stage against Steve hoping of a fluke.

what caused the crash?

 

Well his right fender started flopping you can see it around 1000ft, not sure if it had anything to do with it. He said the car made a hard move to the left, and he corrected hard to keep it off wall, and when it hooked just shot back across the track. They said none of the slicks where flat so no puncture. So not really sure. Maybe some one else can chime in with more detail but thats just what he said when he came back up to stage against steve.

 

looks like it was under breaking, possibly rear brakes still hooked up with the skinnies. Have seen that one happen a few times.

Either way, tough break. They will get her fixed and back out. Die hard group of guys.

 

funny how someone said that he came back to the finals and won the event idk which event that person was at!

 

he won 2nd place obviousely couldnt make a full pass last round but car will be back for honda day to take that num one spot

ive went 150 at some sort *** tracks with skinnies and integra brakes and ive never locked up the skinnies. but my car weights prob 2500lbs. but i am getting rid of my rear brakes on my new car. not gonna chance it after seeing sevral cars this year and last loose it up top.

He was Instagraming. I tell him all the time " wait till after the pass!!!" Hope he learns his lesson!

I believe the rear brakes are just ran to the staging break.

 

Tough brake, but I do believe that he will be back even stronger.

thinking ab taking the rear brakes off my race car after seeing/hearing ab this a few times....but what are people using for front brakes on a eg civic with 13" wheels

 

It wasn't rear brakes that caused this. He wasn't on the brakes. Just started pulling towards wall then corrected and spun.
