Fuel Pump Issues
Okay guys I'm having sort of a weird issue here. I've had my crx running for about a week after sitting for a year. Yesterday I couldn't hear the fuel pump turn on. It was 95 degrees out, so I pulled the main relay out and some of the solder points looked bad so I re soldered them. I still couldn't hear the pump come on. I jumped the BLK/Yel and Yel/BLK with a paper clip to test the voltage and it checked out and it was getting proper voltage to the pump. The pump came on when it was jumped and I felt the click in the relay so I assumed I was good. I pulled the jumper out and tried starting it a few times and the fuel pump came on again and it worked for the rest of the night. I went out to start my car this morning, and it wont turn over again. Same thing that was happening before. I bought a new relay anyways and nothing. I can jump the pins with a clip again and it works. What is going on here? Bad ground somewhere? Is my fuel pump dying?
