I've decided that I want to put an electric cutout on my car (Mainly because I want to have a stock exhaust 90% of the time, but have the option of opening my cutout whenever I'm in the middle of nowhere on a windy road)


My only problem is, nobody seems to know what size the downpipe is on my car.

Anybody out there know?

Very funny, and probably true. Although.... an exact size would be nice!

 

I've been wrong in the past, but I believe it's 1.75"

Wait, how hard is it to go out to your car and measure? If you want to measure specifically where you plan on putting the cutout, wrap a piece of string around it, and remember that circumference = 2πR.

why are we putting a cutout on a stock system? it will just be loud as hell with little to no power increase

 

I had a stock 1997 Saturn that I put an electric cutout on...it was very useful for scaring the **** out of jaywalkers.
