removing h22a1 head from block

Default removing h22a1 head from block

ive removed everything including hoses cams, the support bracket under the intake manifold etc. but i was wondering is there anything on the timing belt side of the engine that i need to take off? does an yhting on the timing belt side hold the h22 head onto the h22 block?

Mine had one bolt to the head from a bracket, the bracket is attached to the motor mount bracket going to the block. Did you remove the plastic timing belt covers?

okay thanks i thought so. and na i havent really touched anything on the timing belt side i basically just slipped off the timing belt enough to get the cams out. (and yes the headbolts are removed)and i think i know which bolt you are talking about its about a 12mm towards the top middle area correct?

and do i have to drop the engine on the drivers side? i was going to try and not drop it but idk

im going to have to buy a helms manual for the torque specs and things like this next week..
