Default 93 eg - Dome light issue & headlight issue

Once again, Im stumped. I've tried everything and still cant figure it out...

I know for a fact that the bulb works. (switched it with passenger and worked fine) same with the ballast...

Ok, problem #1.
My driver side headlight doesnt want to work.
I have the plug n play HID's installed...they consist of three wires.
1st wire = lo beam.
2nd wire = high beam
3rd wire = ground.

The only one giving me a issue is the lo beam, for some frikin reason its not getting power. I already tested with the multimeter and got nothing. I traced the wires from the front of the engine all the way to the fusebox and everything seems fine. No wires seem cut or messed up.

As a last resort, I gave the headlight lo beam lil metal piece 12v direct from the battery and bam, it turned on...

I thought it could be the switch, but then again, wouldnt the passenger side NOT work?

Problem #2
My dome light doesnt turn on when the DRIVER side door opens. When I open the passenger it turns on, go figure. I know about the buttons on the chassis and checked those out already and theyre both fine. I even switched the passenger with the driver side one and sure enough, the passenger side made the light go on which tells me its not the switch.

I googled and found out about a wire jump I could do if my car were a 96+ but its a 93 eg :/

Anyone have a clue?

thanks guys!

Headlight - blown fuse?

Dome - bad wire between switch and dome light?

Both fuses are fine. I double checked them...I even swapped the left lo beam fuse with the right one and the passenger works fine, so its not the fuse.

I didnt check the wire leading from the dome light to the switch, but will do tomorrow morning.

Figured out the headlight problem!
I had de-pined the headlight wire so I can run it through the fender without a problem and when I put it back , I put it in the wrong slot on the clip. I put it on slot #3 instead of slot #5...bastard! After triple checking everything, I finally saw this. fail.

The door switch thing is still buggin me, the wire is fine, theres nothing wrong with it. Is there any way to jump it somehow since I cant find any other solution?

How have you come to this conclusion? What test did you do? Post details.
