Hi all,

Had my wife's Accord at the dealer about 2 months ago for the air bag recall and was told the front and driver side engine mounts were bad. Didn't want to pay $600 to fix so am looking to replace them myself.
What is the best place to purchase them at?
It seems based on my research the front mount has a sensor hose attached to it. Do some of the replacement have the sensor and some don't? Is it necessary to get a new one to hook the hose up to?

Not sure about the fluid hose sensor. Shouldn't need a new one.

 

On my Acura cl 3.0, only the rear engine mount has the sensor. It's for smooth idling. Or so the book says

 

Thanks. Looks like the front mount ECM part is the one I need, ref # 5 part ending in A 81.

What is the ref # for the side drivers side mount?

 

Well you have an accord, so parts are much easier to find. But on my acura, the side mount was #a00, but again, it is different than the accord(Very very similer, but slightly different).
