Is it possible to press splined part of eg steering wheel hub into rsx wheel?
Today I went to install my old rsx steering wheel into my 92 civic hatch only to find out the splines on the steering column are different sizes. After a bit of research I found the odd suggestion of pressing out the center part of the steering wheel hubs with the splines on it and pressing the old eg one into the rsx wheel, saving me from swapping my steering column with an ek.
The only Problem is that in any thread I have seen this suggestion there is no follow up information claiming it is possible. When I look at the back of the rsx wheel I can see that the splines seem to have been pressed into the wheel so I'm thinking it's possible.
I would like to know if anyone has heard of or seen this mod done functionally, or if it's even possible?

I also have heard of people pressing out and interchanging the splined part of the steering wheels in order to get them to work. Ive never seen anybody actually do the work but I have came accross a s2000 steering wheel that worked on EG/DC steering columns.
While on the subject of steering columns, another option for you is to swap out your steering column with that of an EK.
