valve cover help

i took off all the paint off me valve cover *f22* and showed my dad he said "looks cool but in two months it will be all rusty"

"you should put a clear coat or something on it" *WHAT SHOULD I USE?*

so thats it paint it? i want it to look the way it is without the paint so then what use silver or is there a clear coat out there i can use

very simple...sand it with 300 then 400 sand paper.. get a high temp paint spray, spray 4 layer (10 mins between each)
