will it be more affortable to replace the engine (jdm) in a s2000 and would my motor be able to be rebuild? a rod cracked my oil pan...spun crank but it was hard so do not know if the motor is savigable...
i would really appreciate the help thanks

 

these motors are tricky to rebuild because of the FRM sleeves...if it were me, id look for a low mileage replacement engine for the peice of mind

Its cheap! I love the F20c but it really has no PROs over the Ls1. The only thing fan boys can name is the NINE THOUSAND REDLINE and who cares what your car redlines at. before anyone says anything the S2000 is 40-60 pounds heavier then the S2000. The S2000 is weighs 40 more pounds in the rear.

 

yea, but the F20 came in the S2000...if i wanted an LS1, id buy a camaro...but, different pokes for different folks...i wont knock it, i just dont agree with it

 

f22 with 04-05 ecu lug and play. call it a day

 

because those cars handle as great as a S2000? Dont get me wrong I love the F20.
