Dim check engine light...all other light are bright...and car wont start. 92 CX
The battery and alt are good. When I tried to start the car the C.E.L.(check engine light) would come on like it is suppose to(only dim), but it would not start. All other lights that come on at start up are bright except C.E.L. I checked all connections and all were fine. I crank that thing a good 30 times and nothing ...no spark at all. Right when I gave up, the C.E.L. came on bright and it started right up. What could make only the C.E.L. to be dim during cranking??? I asked this question in the civic forum but got nothing. Please help. I am not a rookie at all. I've done motor swaps before. So I know it is not the battery or alt. TIA

Have the same problem it's related to the throttle body sensor, MAP and fuel tank pressure sensor. Has anyone found the fix
The cause is generally a bad ECU capacitor. If so, the cost to fix is almost nothing as a replacement capacitor literally costs about 50-cents or less.
