Got a 1998 civic ex swapped to b16a2 with a DC4 (LS/GS/RS) Transmission out a 2000 si and used stock y8 harness with hondata s300 chipped p28. When im reading the vss on s300 it reads 0Mph and i cant seem to get rid of code 17 (VSS) i've tried a denso vss and the other kind matsumi ? w/e they both work with my speedo but on s300 it reads 0mph and my car has NO VTEC ! I've only tried vss from autozone that are for 2000 civic si , would it make a difference using 94-00 integra vss> i've replaced the vss twice and checked the connectors and they dont look too corroded, what could be the problem of no vtec and why does my speedo work on my cluster but my vss reads 0mph on hondatas Smanager, i neeed vtec back =[.
