Well..... I aint been on here in a while, so hello again.

i have just bought another civic and im having problems already

its been fine untill today, i fit a new cd player and a fuse blew, it was the backup one in the engine bay.

since then it has been idling at around 500-600rpm but only when i select D4,D3.... and so on, it even happens when i put it back in neutral, its ok when i start the engine up, only when i select a "gear" should i say.

hope someone can help me. its a civic coupe ej6, D16y7 auto, and has done around 105,000 miles.

we need maint history to eliminate some areas. Full tune up? fuel filter? idle adjusted, valves adjusted?

 

Blowing the Back Up fuse has caused the ECU to go into the relearn process. The idle will probably settle down after some driving.

 

all i know about maint history is its last survice and mot was in april. cheers ron, i have just been driving for about an hour with a new fuse but forgot all about it, will have a check in the morning and see what happens. this is my first auto so was s*****g my self abit lol
