Do h22s require different tunes?
H22s have different compression ratios, so i would think they would need to be tuned differently.
I am running my h22a4 off a h22a ecu and its running like crap(pof). How come all the ecus are just known as h22 ecus?
What h22 is a p13 for? is it for the higher compression JDM h22a (11.1) or the lower compression usdm h22a1 and h22a4 ( 10-1) or are there different kinds?
I just dont know what ecu to buy or what tune will work on my h22a4 because the h22a ecu is not running it right.

Yes there is a difference in compression, however the major thing you need to consider is that 97 and up h22 engines used 290cc high impedance injectors 96 and below used 340cc low impedance injectors.
You need to be sure you are running the same injector/resistor box setup the h22a ecu was mapped for.
