"BEWARE"DON'T WANT OTHER MEMBERS TO GET SCAMMED BY *jeanhernadez*
Never thought I would be writting something like this about a solider. I responded to a post by Jean trying to get some prices on parts he had up for sale. He took like almost a week to get by to me with prices and assured me he wouldn't scam me. "All solider talk is bull". I proceeded to send him money for cams, intake manifold gasket and oil catch can with block fittings on 04/20/12 via PayPal amt of $700 and on 05/2/12 amt $45. Never got a bad vibe from this guy, so I sent it as a gift. " big mistake " I have learnt not to trust these guys on here no matter what they say. Always use goods and services! He has not sent any tracking or showed any signs of sending parts and will not reply to email, text or calls. Just sucks that some people have to take your money that we work had in this fashion!

Dont think he is a scammer, he is in the Army and from time to time goes out in the field, at least that is the story he is telling me. So far, the deal is going well. I would say, continue to reach out to him and hopefully he will send you the parts you paid for.
He first told me his car was 5 hrs away from him and that his cousin was going to send me parts. I have respect for soldiers, but not contacting me for over 2 months is just not cool and the way in which bussiness should be conducted. I tried over and over. I feel like he just does not care!
Yeah you got scammed, I'm retired army and even if he was in the field he should have made arrangements. You just don't go out to the field at a drop of a hat.
I've been in rapid deployment units and even then you are gone for a couple of days if its an exercise, not weeks or months.
Thanks for the heads up on this scrub.

You've got his first and last name. Get a hold of his Sargent, he will not let this go. $745 isn't pocket change talk to your local authorities about internet fraud.
what i would do .. someone scammed me out of 1200 once and i made a trip from missiouri to texas and paid him a visit...
I was just scammed also this last week, $400 down the drain. Paypal and Ebay make it way too easy to scam people and get away with it, what happened to honesty amongst this "community"? I have dealt with some really nice people on this site, but they are few and far between.
Sorry to hear about your loss, very upsetting.

Another member ones me about a transaction with him also. He is being scammed too. I will try to contact Ft Drum to see if I can resolve something !
Finally , I might get some information on how to get hold of this guy. Another member contacted about him being scammed by jean too. He is very serious about taking action!
Might be looking a little better for me and the other member that got scrammed by Jean. My boy Cliff has been work on this matter and has found out were is is stationed and his comand officer. Hopefully we can get our money back and this guy gets what is coming his way!!
