Did u guys ever think about getting at least 50 of u to write Honda stating u wanted the HFP full lip kit and would pre-pay in advance? I would also Bitch and say we might shop with a different maker, if they say no. Obviously u would have to have the $$$ up front, but it seems to be worth a shot. I check NATIONWIDE Autotrader, Cars.com, and Craigslist nationwide and very rarely do i see a car for sale with the OEM HFP lip kit for sale. How many did Honda make since very few people have it?

Anyway, I think it is worth a shot. Hopefully they say yes. And hopefully they make it in different colors. I have been flirting with the idea of getting a EP3, but the HFP kit is mandatory if I go that route. Thoughts???

 

Good luck getting 50 people to jump on the bandwagon with you. I don't think it's gonna do any good if you DO get 50 people for a group buy.

There are other good looking kits besides the HFP kit.

 

Its probably going to be a waste of time. The car has been out of production for about 7 years and the kit has been discontinued. I dont think they are going to care if you buy a honda or not

you don't deal with the dealership much do you... let alone an internet crowd... I bet you couldn't get 10 people.. hell 5 people to be ready to go and prepay for this. So many people are unreliable when they say they will do something online... just like trying to sell something simple people always bother you and then say "ok I'll send you the money next week" yeah I bet you will....

Sorry but you are chasing hopes and dreams my friend. Just man up and cough up the dough like most of us have and buy the kit yourself outright. Sorry...

 

If an aftermarket company made a good replica of the HFP kit, that would be a money maker.

You can find some HFP kit online if you shop around, but looks like they only have vbp availible for the front lip.

I know how to get those hfp kits... the rear spoiler, under spoiler, side skirts and front lip... they are made by Honda, not a replica... and yes, Honda does not have it anymore. I just bought the rear under spoiler and the hatch spoiler for my satin silver car

Check you sources. They are still readily available(coming from a Honda employee).

 

I know my sources, you as an employee should know where those parts come from... unless, they haven't told you at work. they are no longer with Honda, I know that because my source is the company that has all those discontinued parts

I don't know what else to say. I am about to order the sides and rear spoiler. I'll post pics of the invoice date when they here.

 

I ended up buying a Em2 and the HFP lip kit is available (front, sides and rear, hatch spoiler). It is limited in colors tho. U might have to paint it to match your color. I was able to source the OEM Em2 lip kit from Honda online, when everyone said it was discontinued.

 

Get 50 people to keep their word and you'd be sitting pretty.
